Episode 1
In this episode, I speak with Chantel Cherry-Lassiter, a representative of the Southern Coalition for Social Justice about the Umar Muhammad Clean Slate Toolkit. This toolkit is a resource created by the Southern Coalition for Social Justice to help North Carolinians navigate the new Second Chance Act, which can help expunge the records of low-level, non-violent offenders who received their charges at a young age.
